Liturgy & the Sacraments

Saturdays, 4:00 to 5:00 PM, or by appointment
Sick Call:
Holy Communion will be brought to the sick on request.  In case of dangerous illness, call the rectory any time, day or night.
Arrangements must be made at least six months in advance.  Participation in Pre-Cana Conference or the Engaged Encounter Weekend is required.
Church Support:
Our Lady of Peace Parish is entirely dependent on its parishioners for support.  All wage earners are asked to use the weekly envelopes faithfully.
CCD Classes:
Classes for grades 1 thru 4 are held on Sunday mornings.  Classes for grades 5,6,7 & 8 are held on Wednesday evenings.
Hospital Visits:
Notify the Rectory so that sick parishioners can be visited.
Baptisms are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 12:30 PM. Arrangements must be made in advance, and there is a brief preparatory class held on the 4th Sunday of the month. Godparents are expected to be practicing Catholics. Godparents from other parishes are asked to obtain a  letter from their pastor indicating that they are practicing Catholics. A baptized Christian can serve as a Christian witness for Baptism in place of one of the Godparents.

New Parishioners:
New parishioners should register as soon as possible after moving into the parish.  Registration is our only means of certifying anyone as a member of our parish.  It is also important for testimonial letters regarding sponsorship for the sacraments, recommendations for positions, schools, character references, etc.,.
Please notify the office of change of address.
